With the World Cup 2018 almost in its final leg, we thought it would be fun to throw a World Cup Viewing Party for friends and family.

To start with, you will want to decide which game do you want to watch, semi-finals or finals. You can see all the fixtures here. You can download our handy chart and fill in the scores of all the previous games; it would be a fun activity to see who remembers all the scores. It even has some bits to colour in so if the kids get bored of the game they can get the colouring pens out and get stuck in.

For the décor we tried to keep things more neutral with a black, white, green and metallic color scheme and a few patterns here and there with texture.

We used our easy to assemble Black & White party fans and added a diy paper bunting for the backdrop.

To add more details we made toothpick flags, 'Go team' paper pennants and black & white stripe treat boxes.

We are not going to lie, our favorite part of getting together to watch football is the snacks! There’s something so relaxing about kicking back, enjoying a game, and munching on delicious bites.

We asked le artisan boulangerie, an artisan bread bakery & patisserie to plan an apt menu for our football viewing party.

We had super easy finger foods. The green goddess hummus was made to look like a football field. There were 3 types of lavash to go with it; sourdough lavash with chia seeds, spinach lavash & the beetroot lavash. Sesame bagel sandwiches with lettuce, cheddar cheese &tomato were a hit! Add our DIY toothpick flag to add to the football spirit.

The trail mix was the perfect snack to munch throughout the game. Fill them up in our printable treat boxes and top them up with our ‘Go Team’ penants.

Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting baked in our metallic cupcake cases & football shaped cookies were a crowd favourite!

For the tableware we used our:
